Working on the pole requires hand and body grip. Everyone’s skin makeup is slightly different and can range from dry to oily. For Pole, you’ll want to prepare your skin to be optimally grippy for your moves. First assess what kind of skin you have naturally. If dry, you may apply non-oil based lotion such as glycerin based or aloe to moisturize the day or night before practicing Pole. For oily skin, you may want to stop using products that contain oil such as oil based body soap, lotion or hair products.
