Consider function and comfort when dressing to pole. Remove jewelry and go barefoot to build strength in the small muscles of your feet. You may want to tie your hair up in a bun or pony tail. Form-fitted clothing is recommended. You may start with a tank top and bike shorts. As you add more moves that require grip aid from different parts of the body such as the inner thighs and waist, you’ll want to wear a sports bra and briefs. Consider the moves you’ll be doing and make sure your skin is exposed in the areas you’ll need grip.
